QR Code Best Practices for Print

A badly printed QR code can frustrate customers. Follow these rules to keep scans high.

Minimum size

At least 1 inch or 25 mm when printed. Increase size for larger distances like posters and banners.

Contrast matters

Use dark foreground on light background. Avoid gradients behind the code.

Keep the quiet zone

Leave empty space around the QR code equal to one module width on all sides.
